MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE Cancelled

men of a certain age (tnt) 102I

TNT has decided that MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE is past its prime. The network has cancelled the dramedy, following its season 2 finale which aired on July 6. As always, ratings take precedence over good storytelling and performances. What a shame!

According to TVLine.com, TNT released a statement in which they wished the best to the cast and crew, and expressed the pride they felt in being part of the show. TNT further stated that they “look forward to exploring new programming possibilities in the future” and that “this was an extremely difficult decision for us.”

Men of a Certain Age starred Ray Romano, Scott Bakula and Andre Braugher.

Are you one of the 1.8 million viewers of the series that is disappointed by this news? Or is it not a big surprise to you?

I can’t believe it!  One of their best and they cancel it?  What are they doing, taking their cues from the stupid networks?  This was on par or better then all of their other series like Leverage and the Closer and better then the others–what a mistake. It will be sorely missed by myself and my friends.

Great acting, writing and concept – how does a network walk away from that?!

I am so disappointed.  You’d think they could allow one more episode, preferably two hours long at least, where all the loose ends are tied up.  Another example of the networks not caring about the fans who do watch their shows.
