Natalie Zea Proves Her Worth with Roles on JUSTIFIED, CALIFORNICATION, PERSON OF INTEREST

JUSTIFIED Save My Love -Natalie Zea

With the season 3 renewal of FX’s JUSTIFIED, Natalie Zea has signed a new deal to continue on the drama series. Zea started on the show as a guest star in the pilot, playing the ex-wife of Timothy Olyphant’s character, U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens. In season 2 of Justified, Givens went up against different criminal organizations vying for power in Harlan County.

Zea also is set for a recurring role on Showtime’s CALIFORNICATION. As Deadline.com reports, she will play a new love interest for star David Duchovny in an upcoming arc. Californication follows famed novelist Hank Moody as he unsuccessfully navigates home life, work and his life of unabashed debauchery.

Finally, we will get to see Zea in J.J. Abrams and Jonah Nolan’s upcoming CBS pilot, PERSON OF INTEREST. This new show stars Michael Emerson and Jim Caviezel, respectively as a mysterious man with a machine that predicts who will be involved in a violent crime and an ex-CIA agent. They work to try and prevent the crimes from happening.

What do you think of Zea? I never seem to recognize her when I see her. She has a chameleon-like quality where she looks different to me each time. I don’t know whether this is because of my lack of facial recognition ability, hair/makeup or Zea’s acting skills.

About The Author

When not in the kitchen trying to make non-dairy, non-gluten foods taste good, Cordelia is at her computer watching Asian TV serials. If the internet is down, she has her TV programs. If cable is on the fritz, she is buried in books that she's been meaning to read. When she starts feeling cross-eyed, she knows she’s overdone it.

I’m voting: her acting skills. She has done such diversified roles: Lauren (The Shield),  Karen Darling (Dirty Sexy Money), Jenna (Hung), Winona (Justified), Christianth (The Other Guys), Attorney (The Defenders), Widow (Franklin& Bash. And now a leading role in “Insight” with Christopher Lloyd.  (in theaters Labor Day.)
I’m saying watch carefully. Eventual Emmy, Oscar, major film deal very soon.
