William and Kate who? The other royal wedding between Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) and Prince Louis (Hugo Becker) will be the event of the season, but it doesn’t look like it will go off without a hitch. The CW’s GOSSIP GIRL has cast French actress/model Roxane Mesquida in a recurring role, reports TVLine.com. As Prince Louis’ meddling sister, she does not support the happy couple and will do anything to stop the union.
Not yet widely known in the U.S., Mesquida has several English language films in the works for next year, including Kiss of the Damned with Milo Ventimiglia and The Most Fun You Can Have Dying.
Season 5 of Gossip Girl is scheduled to air on Monday, Sept. 26 at 8/7c.
