Episode Synopsis: HOT IN CLEVELAND “Pilot” Episode 1 – LA florist Fran (Fran Drescher) is pushed back into the dating pool after her husband of 18 years, Peter (John Michael Higgins), drops a bomb by coming out of the closet. Neither can afford to move out of the house, so they’re stuck living together, making it difficult for Fran to be with her new man, Elliot (Guest Star D.W. Moffett). The cast is rounded out by Fran’s best friend Judi (Tichina Arnold), her parents Dori and Glen (Rita Moreno and Robert Walden), and her flower delivery employee Cesar (Valente Rodriguez). “Happily Divorced” is filmed in front of a live studio audience.
