THE KILLING Season 2 Announced

THE KILLING
Yes! Season 2 of THE KILLING has officially been announced, right in time for this Sunday’s season finale.

I don’t know about you, but The Killing captured my attention from the very first episode and I can’t wait to find out how they wrap it all up, especially since I now know there will be more.

The second series will include another 13 episodes and I’m guessing will focus on another investigation.

This renewal does beg the question, will Sarah Linden be sticking around then? Because I cannot fathom a season 2 without the brilliant Mireille Enos. And of course Joel Kinnaman aka Stephen Holder has to be back too, because he is also fantastic as Enos.

The Killing is based on the successful Danish television series Forbrydelsen. It comes from writer, executive producer and series showrunner Veena Sud, who will return for season 2 as well.

If you haven’t watched the series yet, I am begging you, give it a shot, especially if you love drama series. AMC has laid out all the places you can catch up on the show right here, so you have no excuses.

The season one finale will air on Sunday, June 19 at 10pm on AMC. Don’t miss it.
