Comcast announced today that it is adding ABC and FOX television series to its On Demand service, making Comcast the only pay TV provider to offer current TV shows from all four major broadcast networks – ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC.
Starting Thursday, April 28, more than 20 popular TV series, such as Grey’s Anatomy and Glee, from ABC and FOX will become available On Demand the day after the series’ live broadcast and will be fast forward disabled. These series join top-rated shows from CBS and NBC including The Good Wife, NCIS, Hawaii Five-0, The Office, 30 Rock and the new series The Voice. Each of the major broadcast networks will offer the four most recent episodes for viewing whenever customers want to watch them.
This expansion, along with an already extensive line-up of shows, nearly doubles the amount of hit TV series now available from the major broadcast networks, and brings customers the most Xfinity On Demand TV episodes in high-definition.
