CSI will be getting another cast member soon – according to TVLine, actress Elisabeth Harnois has been confirmed to join the cast as a series regular. Harnois, who co-starred on the show Miami Medical, was originally tapped to guest star in the show’s May 5 episode. The role expanded, promoting her to a regular cast member of the show.
Harnois, whose recent credits include One Tree Hill and Point Pleasant, plays the estranged daughter of Conrad Ecklie (Marc Vann) who works for the LAPD. She is instrumental in helping the crew hunt down serial killer Nate Haskell (Bill Irwin).
At this time, CSI has not been renewed for a 12th season. Announcements are expected to be made regarding the show’s fate at the annual Upfront presentations in May.
