According to TVLine.com comedian Sarah Silverman is set to make a guest appearance on THE GOOD WIFE. But her character will be anything but funny.
Silverman will play Stephanie, a ripped-from-the-headlines character who just happens to be the owner of an Ashley Madison-esque website. For those of you who don’t know (because I didn’t and had to actually look up what that meant), that means it’s a sort of Match.com-for-adulterers. Stephanie hires Lockhart Gardner to defend her in a civil case when a plaintiff claims that the site caused her faithful husband to cheat on her, which in turn led to his gruesome, wrongful death.
Like I said, not exactly funny but no less fantastic. The Good Wife just keeps getting better and better this season and this storyline looks to be no exception.
