Jonathan Groff To Return To GLEE

Fans who were distraught at the fact that Jonathan Groff had no plans to return to GLEE can start their celebrations now. TVLine confirms that Groff has negotiated a deal with the show that will allow him to return for the final three episodes of the season.

Groff will be reprising his role as Jesse St. James, the evil ex boyfriend of Rachel (Lea Michele.) When we last left off with Groff’s character at the end of the first season, he was doing some pretty nasty work to sabotage New Directions. But now? Apparently he will be back to apologize to Rachel. The question is…can will she let him try to win back her heart and her trust? And will he succeed?

I really wish they would stop bringing in guest stars and start focusing on the actual glee club members again. Mercedes and Tina are completely ignored while these guest stars get more screentime.

I agree that sometimes guest stars take focus away from the characters we have come to love. That said I did Jonathan Groff in Glee, so I guess I’m a little biased there because I don’t mind him coming back :)
