AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL “Sonia Dara” Season 16 Episode 6 – Eight girls are left, and Tyra wants to give the models a quick crash course into how to handle the world, so something like that. Molly bitches about her weave, but Tyra is so not biting. Even though last season she devoted an episode to not labelling the girls, she takes the first five minutes of this episode to literally label the remaining models. Then she teaches the girls how to make their autographs. Alexandria is as tough as a diamond, because that’s the toughest thing you can be.
When was the last time one of the Top Model models became a celebrity? The first challenge is handling fans and things get dirty fast: Monique (who may become my favourite bitch) sends a creepy fellow over to Alexandria telling him she’ll kiss him. She does and Alexandria is seriously scorched. Sure, I may have had no idea what the hell this had to do with modelling, but it was by far one of the most entertaining challenges. Kasia wins and she chooses Brittani and Jacelyn to dine with her and Mr J.
The models are covered in mud for a fashion shoot in groups of blondes and brunettes. Alexandira returns to directing.
At the judging panel, the brunettes are up first. Monique is criticized for not being relaxed enough. Jacelyn’s photo is heaped with praise. Mikaela’s photo is deemed lifeless. Brittani stands out in the photo.
The bitchy blondes are up next. Hannah’s photo is beautiful, Kasia is the standout, Molly gives a good photo, Alexandria is disappointing.
The first one called is Brittani, second is Kasia. The bottom two are down to Mikaela and Monique. Monique is the bitchy one, Mikaela has the cheekbones. Mikaela unfortunately cannot hold on to the “handlebars of fierceness”, whatever the hell that means.
Monique is gone because she sailed in the middle.
