As if there wasn’t enough eye candy on the show already, looks like COVERT AFFAIRS has decided to take it up another notch.
TVLine.com reports that Aussie hunk Ben Lawson is joining the USA Network smash in a recurring role.
Lawson is set to play the role of Dr. Scott Weiss, who is described as a charming and handsome Doctors Without Borders-type physician. Annie (Piper Perabo) will meet up with the doc when she takes her niece, Chloe, to the emergency room. Passionate about his own work, Scott is someone who can understand Annie’s devotion to her job, even if he doesn’t quite know what that job is.
Lawson previously starred in the short-lived ABC legal drama The Deep End, which I actually enjoyed immensely (though, according to the ratings, I may have been the only one who did), so I’m very much looking forward to seeing the sparks fly between his character and Annie.
Covert Affairs comes back for its second season on June 7.
