HUNG Role Recast With Kaitlin Doubleday

HUNG Kaitlin Doubleday (HBO)

The HBO show Hung is heading into its third season this summer but a character has already been recast, according to TVLine.com.

Leven Rambin, known for her role as Ava Benton on All My Children as well as her recurring roles in shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and One Tree Hill, had to leave the show due to scheduling conflicts.

Kaitlin Doubleday is replacing Rambin as a character who meets Ray Drecker, her former teacher, in an awkward situation, to say the least. Doubleday’s television credits include guest stints on Bones, CSI: Miami and a small role in the Leonardo DiCaprio film Catch Me If You Can.

Are you a fan of Rambin? Disappointed she won’t be sharing the screeen with Thomas Jane? Or are you ecstatic for Doubleday? Sound off your thoughts in the comments below.

I really am not a fan of Leven. Perhaps it is her role choices. She always seems to be the pregnant teen or 20 something. It just gets tiring. On the other hand, I cannot wait for the new season of Hung!
