The good news of the day comes from FOX giving FRINGE its Season 4. And we couldn’t be happier, especially after sharing with you the 5 reasons why you should watch Fringe yesterday, it’s just a great serendipitous moment, wouldn’t you say?
According to EW, the news first broke when executive producer J.H. Wyman tweeted about the pick up, which was then confirmed by FOX.
Despite Fringe receiving its lowest rating ever last Friday, with only 3.8 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demo, Fringe still brings a better performance on Fridays to FOX, making it (according to FOX) the No. 1 show on the night, beating even cable, and increased FOX’s average by 38%. Not too bad Fringe, not to bad.
As you can tell, this is very exciting news and I am glad we’ll get one more season to try and figure out what all those fringe mysteries are all about.
