Natasha Henstridge (Eli Stone, Commander in Chief) is certainly going to be busy. In addition to starring in the CW’s The Secret Circle pilot, TV Guide is reporting she will also appear in the CSI MIAMI season finale.
Henstridge will play Renee Locklear, an undercover Secret Service agent whom the CSIs initially think is either a witness or a suspect in the case of a missing fugitive. The truth comes out during an interrogation and sparks will fly between Renee and Horatio Caine (David Caruso). According to co-executive producer Barry O’Brien,
“We had the idea that there might be, and as we watched the scenes, there, in fact, was a lot of chemistry. It’s a relationship we’d like to pursue. She’s beautiful and she looks great with David. It’s a pretty exciting relationship for us.”
That chemistry means Henstridge will be back in CSI Miami‘s season 10 premiere and, if the producers have their way, beyond. That could get tricky if The Secret Circle is ordered to series, but since the CW is part of the CBS family, O’Brien thinks it’s workable.
CSI Miami airs on CBS Sundays at 10pm eastern/9 central.
