Okay, CASTLE fans, you can take a deep breath and relax. I’m not talking about the actual Ryan and Esposito here, but rather their Heat Wave counterparts. That’s right folks, this means I’ve got even more casting news about the upcoming Hollywood episode, which is looking like it’s going to be something really special this season.
First up, I reported that Prison Break’s Dominic Purcell had signed on, then it was Off The Map’s Jason George’s turn to join the cast, and finally I got wind that The Even’ts D.B. Sweeney had jumped aboard the episode as well.
Now TVGuide.com reports that it’s time to meet the two newest guest stars, otherwise known as the new hunks who will be playing Ryan and Esposito’s alter egos in the movie adaptation of Rick Castle’s book.
Actor Ryan Deal (who starred in the 2007 Ghost Whisperer online spin-off, The Other Side) will be playing Raley, aka the alter-universe Ryan (fun coincidence with the names, eh?).
Meanwhile fresh face Justice Gamble will be playing Ochoa, the movie’s version of Esposito. Laura Prepon previously appeared in the series as actress Natalie Rhodes (Heat Wave’s Nikki Heat), but is not expected to reappear in this episode.
Like I keep saying, this episode just keeps looking better and better.
