Great news, 30 ROCK fans! According to Inside TV, your favorite show is about to have one fantastic, as well as Oscar-winning, actress stop by for a guest spot.
Susan Sarandon has signed up for an episode of the NBC comedy and though details are scarce about her role, I can say that the episode will air on March 17 and is titled ‘Queen of Jordan’. Also, word is that the episode is expected to go behind the scenes of the fictional reality show starring Angie Jordan (Sherri Shepherd).
Sarandon won the Academy Award for her work in Dead Man Walking, but is probably known for her roles in films like Thelma & Louise, The Witches of Eastwick and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Previous television credits for the actress include a recurring role on Rescue Me and guest appearances on Friends and ER.
The 64-year-old actress most recent appearance was a starring role opposite Al Pacino in HBO’s You Don’t Know Jack.
