Any TRUE BLOOD fan probably already knows that next season is going to chock full of witches, werewolves and more Nan Flannigan. But according to TVLine.com, a familiar face will make an appearance in the new season as well.
Allan Hyde (aka the vampire legend known as Godric) is set to reprise his role as Eric’s late, forever young-looking maker when the HBO drama resumes this summer.
Right now details are slim as to the duration and exact timing of his stint. What is also unclear at this point is what form the onetime vampire sheriff of Area 9 will take, considering that he succumbed to the worst sunburn in history during season 2. (Though he did return briefly in the season 3 finale to deliver a message to Eric.)
The only clues being dropped by EP Alan Ball right now is a promise that fans will see “a different side of Godric.”
