Morena Baccarin is one busy lady these days and as a big fan of hers (she will forever be Inara from Firefly to me, no matter how many other alien queens she plays), I’m very happy to hear that she’s going to be stopping by one of my favorite shows.
Inside TV reports that the actress is going to be taking a short break from plotting the downfall of humanity on ABC’s V to take on a guest-starring role in an upcoming episode of CBS’ THE MENTALIST.
Baccarin is set to play a character named Erica Flynn, who is described as an “attractive and sexy woman who seems as warm-hearted, sincere, and intelligent as she is lovely.” In the episode, Erica runs a matchmaking business and also may be hiding some dark secrets. Fans can reportedly expect some sparks to fly between Baccarin’s Erica and Simon Baker’s Patrick Jane when the episode airs in early April.
