Actress Jenna Elfman is reportedly in negotiations for the lead in ABC’s single-camera comedy pilot BAD MOM, according to Deadline.com.
The show comes from ABC Studios and Kapital Entertainment and centers on Julia (Elfman), who is a single mom whose two kids had been raised largely by her mom. But when Julia’s mom decides to get her life back, she has to go back to raising her kids all on her own. The series was created by British writer-actress-comedienne Sharon Horgan, who is executive producing along with Aaron Kaplan.
Eflman (formerly the star of Dharma & Greg) also starred CBS’ multi-camera comedy Accidentally on Purpose last season. Next up for the actress is a co-starring role in the feature Friends with Benefits.
