PRETTY LITTLE LIARS “If At First You Don’t Succeed, Lie, Lie Again” Review

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS “If At First You Don’t Succeed, Lie, Lie Again” Episode 15 – While the girls try to figure out the origin of the photo of Allison taken the last day she was alive and, more importantly, who took the photo, they also try to go about their ordinary lives. For Hanna this means trying to save her mom by selling out Aria. For Aria, it means having a “real” date with Mr. Fitz in Philadelphia. For Emily, it means trying to get back her competitive edge in swimming while making an enemy. Spencer, however, has only one thing on her mind, figuring out who took the picture in which her shadow is seen.

Yes, as I thought, it is Spencer’s shadow in the photograph. After Spencer told Allison that she was dead to her, they each left out separate doors, caught in the photograph. Allison’s brother tells Spencer that he spent all of that summer partying with Ian who stayed in their house. It is entirely likely the photo was taken by Ian before he went to meet Allison. But why was Jason staring creepily at the girls at the end of the show? Does he know more than he is saying?

It is interesting to see how A is trying to come between the girls by setting up Hanna to expose Aria and Mr. “I wish you would call him Ezra” Fitz. It is telling that A chose Hanna to expose Aria seeing how Hanna has been the most vocal in her disappointment in that relationship. Thank goodness new guy was around. I am quickly becoming a fan. He just does things that need to be done, no questions asked for some unknown reason. Does he just enjoy doing devious things or does he have a thing for Hanna?

How fortuitous that the old woman that Hanna’s mother stole from is now dead. Do you think that is the end of the story though? Won’t she have relatives or an estate administrator that will want access to the safety deposit box? It is possible that the person will not know the contents. On the other hand, I have a feeling the old woman kept detailed records. Could it really be any other way? Hanna’s mother cannot be off the hook so cleanly and so easily. What will A have Hanna do in the end to save her mother?

I wonder what the issue is with the bracelets. They were purchased at the same bead place from Mrs. Garrett from the Facts of Life, but why? And why did A or the mysterious stranger use Spencer’s name? Mrs. Garrett’s remark about the person having interesting eyes made me immediately think of Allison. Hers are the only eyes I have ever noticed. Does anyone else on the show have “interesting eyes”? Any thoughts as to who Mrs. Garrett’s visitor was?

What did you think of tonight’s epsiode of Pretty Little Liars? Are we now supposed to believe Allison’s brother, Jason, is A? Did anyone else think it defeated the purpose of having a real date out of town in the open if you are going to openly stand dressed up in front of your teacher’s apartment and then he is going to pick you up in a limosine?
