Episode Synopsis: BIG LOVE “Certain Poor Shepherds” Season 5 Episode 3 – The Henricksons try to put on a unified face during Christmas, but are tested amidst numbing revelations from Barb, Marge and Adaleen. Meanwhile, Lura (Anne Dudek) takes drastic measures in response to Alby’s zealous efforts to “purify” the compound; Lois (Grace Zabriskie) drifts towards the deep end; Bill tries to soften up a senator; Ben (Douglas Smith) bonds with Heather (Tina Majorino); and Cara Lynn looks for answers about her father.
Show Summary: Big Love Season 5 – On election night, new state senator Bill Henrickson shook Utah to its core by announcing he was a polygamist. Now, instead of being embraced for their honesty, the Henrickson family is engulfed by hostility from neighbors, Home Plus employees, casino partners, students at their kids’ schools and even fellow polygamists hoping to keep their personal lives private. Meanwhile, at Juniper Creek, Alby Grant returns from a selfimposed desert exile with revenge on his mind. Can the Henricksons survive this flood of ill-will?
