Well now that us HAWAII FIVE-0 fans have finally met Danny’s ex-wife (who was only a voice on the phone or intercom for the first part of the season), it looks like it’s time for us to meet her new hubby, too.
According to EOnline.com, Lone Star’s Mark Deklin is set to play the role of Stan, the man who’s taken Danny’s place in Rachel’s life. It goes without saying that Stan is also Grace’s step-father, which is another thorn in Danny’s side for sure. Adding insult to injury, Stan is described as “a handsome, wealthy, international businessman.”
In other words, he’s the complete opposite of Danny (except for the handsome part of course), which again makes me wonder at the fact that he and Rachel ever got together in the first place.
Stan will get himself into trouble when he records a corrupt Housing Commissioner demanding bribes and then threatens to indict the man. Stan’s behavior may be honorable, but he unwittingly puts Grace and Rachel in danger, which forces him to humbly face Danny’s wrath as well as accept his help. Rachel’s new hubby will first appear in the Feb. 7 episode of H50, “E Malama.”
