Alrighty then, don’t say I didn’t warn ya. According to TVLine.com, it looks like someone is going to be busting their way in on Tiva territory on NCIS.
The series has cast Brothers and Sisters actress Sarah Jane Morris for a major arc starting this spring. Morris is set to play new NCIS agent Erica Jane “EJ” Barrett, who will shake up the team’s dynamic. Specifically she’ll be shaking up Tony as sparks are expected to fly between EJ and Gibbs’ Senior Field Agent.
Personally I actually find this to be good news as I’m one of the fans of NCIS who doesn’t like the whole Tiva thing. The idea of Tony and Ziva actually getting together? No thanks. I enjoy the teasing and flirting between them and in earlier seasons I found it quite funny while still being sexy. These days though those two are more awkward than anything else and frankly I’m hoping that introducing a new love interest for Tony will maybe help clear that up.
Guess we’ll have to see what happens.
