Oscar, Emmy , Golden Globe, SAG and Tony-winning actor Jeremy Irons will soon be making his first appearance on network television. He will have a special guest-starring role on an upcoming episode of LAW & ORDER: SVU.
Irons, who won an Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role for “Reversal of Fortune,” also won an Emmy and Screen Actors Guild Award for his performance in the HBO mini-series “Elizabeth I”. His career has spanned more than three decades and he has a multitude of honors to his credit. He will play Dr. Cap Jackson, a sex therapist who runs a sex addition rehab clinic in the upcoming Law & Order: SVU episode titled “Mask.” The episode will be filmed later this month and will air in early 2011.
