Marc Singer to Appear on V

Marc Singer

Marc Singer, who starred in the original V, will appear in the ABC reboot this winter. TV Guide reports he will play Lars Tremont, who belongs to a secret organization of high-ranking government and military leaders from around the globe who are suspicious of the Visitors. Singer will appear in the tenth (and final) episode of V‘s second season.

This is only the latest nod V is making to its 1980s predecessor, since it was previously announced that Jane Badler will recur as Anna’s evil mother Diana. Badler’s first appearance will be in the January 4 season premiere.

Singer played freedom fighter Mike Donovan in the original V, but he is probably best known for his role in The Beastmaster.

Does bringing on actors from the original V make you more interested in the current version?

The second season of V will premiere on ABC Tuesday, January 4 at 9pm eastern/8 central.

Bringing Marc Singer on the new show definitely boosts my interest. I always think of him and Faye Grant as the stars of the original. They’re my faves.

I agree with you and I was hoping we’d get word that Faye Grant would be making an appearance, too, but no such luck (yet).
