ONE TREE HILL “Lists, Plans” Season 8 Episode 10 – Nathan heads back to school, Brooke tries to plan a wedding that is not backyard trashy and Quinn consults a muderer on how to murder. Welcome to this week’s episode of One Tree Hill.
Let’s start with the murder plot. Absolutely ridiculous. First, didn’t Dan kill Keith in the school and on a spur of the moment? How would he know how to orchestrate a murder and cover it up? Also, how overly dramatic was that music for every scene he and Quinn were in? It drove me crazy. Other ridiculousness included how many times they said murder (which made me say it like MERRRRDERRRR in my head), the fact that they actually made a list of things to buy with the heading “Murder” on it, and some of their diaglogue. “What can I help you with?” “Murder.” Okay. I did like Dan telling Quinn that she looked familiar and wondering if they slept together. Thankfully, Quinn has decided not to kill crazy shooter girl, but now the girl is headed back to Tree Hill to cause more trouble. The cheesiest moment in this entire episode was the very last shot of her looking at the camera. Maybe Dan could come in as a hitman and kill the woman. While he is there, he can also take care of Mia and Chase. I will offer to chip in the extra bucks.
Meanwhile, Brooke is trying to plan a wedding without any money. Julian has to have some money, right? They are not completely broke. Brooke thinks it is easier to find inspiration when you have money. I found this thinking annoying because Brooke supposedly started a company from scratch while in high school and with no money. How did she find her inspiration then? Luckily, she has a pretty cool fiance who forced her to actually do things on her “what to do when you are rich but then never do because you are too busy getting rich and being rich” list. This gave Brooke her much needed inspiration and gave the viewers a much needed break from all of the moping.
Nathan is back to school and encounters fans, athletes and a really tough professor that he chose. Good for him for not going the easy route, but how many episodes are we going to have put up with the struggle against the teacher and getting advice from an 8 year old? Haley, on the other hand, I am loving. I love seeing her pregnant and happy and setting up concerts for Erin with Kid Cudi and celebrity bartending events. I cannot find anything wrong in anything Haley does.
My favorite part of tonight’s episode would probably be Mia and Alex bonding which is crazy considering I am not particularly fond of them. It is so much better than them fighting. Alex will get Chase back even if she has to go behind Mia’s back. Where is Dan Scott when you need him?
What did you think of tonight’s episode of One Tree Hill? Did it feel like more filler? The only thing that was dramatic was the lame murder plot. One Tree Hill needs to step it up, don’t you think? Share what you think about this episode and this season in the comment section below.
