HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER “Glitter” Season 6 Episode 9 – What did you think of tonight’s episode? I don’t know about ya’ll but I’m still signing The Beaver Song….”two beavers are better than one”! What? It’s about friendship, geeze! That last scene was just fabulous. A sing-along, dancing mounties, and Alan Thicke is a recipe for a good times – I’ve always said that. So let’s talk about the characters.
Robin: We finally get to see Robin’s Canadian TV show and it was awesome! It reminded me of the “Twangers” episode of Rainbow (if you don’t know what I’m talking about check it out here). Did you have a favorite “Glitter” moment? Mine was when Alan Thicke said “Everybody knows a beaver’s favorite food is wood”. LOL. It was so wrong but yet so hilarious.
Barney: Here’s what I don’t understand about Barney. Why does he keep using stupid gimmicks to get ladies? He doesn’t need gimmicks, he’s Barney! You’d think gimmicks would be beneath him. Also, I wasn’t a big fan of the boutineer, I’m just saying. My favorite Barney moment of the night was his verbal assault of reality show elimination phrases aimed at Ted’s BFF “Punchy”. Was anybody else hoping they’d touch on Barney finding out who his dad is? I guess they were trying to keep it light this episode – maybe next week?
Ted: I was hoping to see more of Ted and Zoey this episode and got Ted and “Punchy” instead. Boo! They did a really good job of making this guy about as annoying as possible. One thing I did laugh at was his “dead bird” trick hahaha.
Marshall and Lily: Lily is already starting to get emotional and she’s not even pregnant yet! My prediction is that she will get preggers soon, hopefully around the holidays. What do you think? Marshall didn’t have a big role tonight. I can’t even think of a memorable moment with him in it – can you think of one?
I’ve been reading a lot of your comments lately and I think most of us are in agreement that Robin and Barney will get back together this season, Lily will get pregnant, and Ted will get married (possibly to Zoey).
