AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL “Zac Posen” Cycle 15 Episode 8- Fashion designer Zac Posen shows up and the models’ challenge is a runway walk with professional models. In an ingeniusly entertaining move, Miss J has the professional models act bitchy towards the newcomers in an attempt to psyche them out. The professionals take this challenge on board and complete it with aplomb. This works on Ann, who freaks out and trips when a model tells her “don’t screw it up”. It does not work so well on Chris, who wants to put a foot through one of the models’ face.
The winner of the challenge is Chelsea. The models all hug her. I don’t see any knives in hand. Aw…I miss Kacey.
The photo shoot this week is roller skating with boys whom they kiss for a H2T Water, a make believe sports drink. This has Kayla freaked out. She reveals to Jay (and television) that she was sexually assaulted, something she had not told anyone before. Kayla braves through it. Liz is very disappointing because she can’t stop laughing. Esther’s performance is without any energy at all. Jane and Chelsea are tripping over themselves. Chris goes and is one of the best of the day. Ann fails to rise to the challenge and she psyches herself out and wounded up falling all over the place.
At the judging panel Tyra, I have to say, has never looked so good.
Jane is up first and her commercial is praised for her magical moment at the end with the male model. Nigel made some obscure comment about her personality not coming through. Liz is criticized to tears and she brings up her daughter again. Chris gets a round of applause for her commercial. Tyra thought it was a tiny bit cheesey. Kacey is praised for looking urban, though her awkwardness with the male model is noted. Ann’s commercial was notably awkward. Chelsea’s commerical is praised. Esther is forgettable.
Winner of the commercial challenge is Chris. Second comes Jane. The bottom two are Ann and Esther, and you can see from Esther’s reaction that she knows she is a goner.
Blah Esther, Tyra’s curvy sister, goes home. Ann is saved.
