SMALLVILLE Season 10 Brings Back a Surprise Guest

SMALLVILLE - John Glover as Lionel Luthor in "Traveler"
It’s official, John Glover will reprise his role of Lionel Luther in the final season of SMALLVILLE, which premieres Friday, September 24 at 8pm on The CW.

According to EW, Glover will appear in at least two episodes this season which are scheduled to air in November. Although no explanations as to how his character will come back from the dead (Lionel was last seen on Smallville when Lex threw him out of a window). I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

In addition to Glover a few Smallville alums will also appear on Smallville for its final season, including John Schneider (Jonathan Kent), Laura Vandervoort (Kara/Supergirl), James Marsters (Brainiac) and Michael Shanks (Hawkman).

However there are still no plans for Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luther) or Kristin Kreuk (Lana Lang) to return.

    I am dying to hear any news at all on Lex’s possible return. I have tried to post similar messages at a fan site, but I think the topic is not allowed.
    So I will say to anyone listening: I don’t get it. Tom Welling has apparently wined and dined Rosenbaum in an attempt to get him to return. One of the producers sent him flowers, and everyone connected with the show says they want him. All of the fans would LOVE it.
    Why is Mr. Rosenbaum holding out? Does he hate us? Us, meaning the fans. It’s unreal to me that he can’t just come back for even one appearance. I’ve read he doesn’t want to shave his head, but come on! They’ve got makeup people who can do a fake bald cap or something.
    Does anyone on the entire World Wide Web have any idea what the problem is?

    John is a great actor and can help Clark becoming Superman! On the show he plays the sprit of Jor’el and now has turned good. This Smallville 10th season show would last five more years if Tom Welling can change the format and title of the show which has a new life!!! Be a real Superman Tom Welling and SAVE the show ?
