Actor Eric Christian Olsen has been promoted to series regular on the CBS series NCIS: LOS ANGELES. Olsen guest starred on the show last season as Los Angeles Police Detective Liaison Marty Deeks.
Deeks, a seasoned LAPD undercover detective, was recruited to the NCIS team by Operations Manager Hetty Lange, played by Linda Hunt. Olsen will make his first appearance in the new season when NCIS: Los Angeles returns with a the special two-hour season premiere on Tuesday, September 21 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS.
“We are thrilled to have Eric join the cast,” said Executive Producer Shane Brennan. “He has already proved himself to be a great asset and invaluable member of the team, and Eric’s fans will be delighted to see what we have in store for him.”
