Did you ever find an answer to this question? I would like to know also and have looked everywhere with no luck. Thanks!

The finale was a complete failure; the show was completely off-kilter for the last couple hours. Neely’s abrupt death, Grace’s pointless Mexico drifting, the thing with the mail, the last fight between Ham and Butch, the way everything just seemed to screech to a rushed ending — all a failure. I never expected Grace to survive this series. But I did expect her to go out in a more meaningful way… and I sure as hell expected an opportunity afterward to grieve and reflect with those she left behind. How would Ham ever survive what happened? How would Clay’s faith survive?? Her death looks like suicide! Worst ending to any TV series since TWIN PEAKS and SEINFELD. R.I.P., Grace. You deserved a better exit.

The version of Stand By Me was done by John Lennon from the Imagine movie soundtrack.

Thanks so much! I had no idea it was Lennon.

You are very welcome! I am a huge Beatle fan and have most of their music as a band and single. That’s how I knowe who it was.
