Executive producer Shawn Ryan has decided to leave Fox’s TV show LIE TO ME. According to The Live Feed, Ryan is juggling a number of projects and the struggling Fox drama won’t be one of them.
The fate of the show hasn’t been decided by Fox. They pushed the return of Lie to Me back to this summer and haven’t announced whether new episodes will be ordered. Currently, Fox has 12 episodes that haven’t been aired. They are scheduled to begin airing on June 7th and will be paired up with The Good Guys, Fox’s new dramedy.
Ryan’s current projects include Terriers, a private eye drama for FX and Ride Along, a police drama that may be picked up by Fox for the fall 2010. His past successes include The Shield, The Unit and Angel.
