Newcomer, Grey Damon has been cast in season 5 of FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, according to Michael Ausiello.
Grey Damon will play the role of Hastings Ruckle, a basketball player who joins East Dillon’s Lions as a wide receiver. This new character along with several others will (hopefully) help fill the void left by Zach Gilford (Matt Saracen), Taylor Kitsch (Tim Riggins), and Jesse Plemmons (Landry Clarke).
I am a huge fan of Friday Night Lights, as some of you already know, and I can’t wait for season 5, but that said, I don’t think anyone could replace Tim, Mat and Landry, the same way no one was ever able to replace Jason Street. I just hope that we can come to love Hastings Ruckle, the same way we have come to love Vince Howard and Luke Cafferty.
