LOST “The Package” Review

What did you think of tonight’s episode of LOST, “The Package”? Well, we all knew it was going to be hard to beat last week’s episode featuring Richard Alpert, so I couldn’t help but be a little bit bored with “The Package”. I did like having a full episode devoted to Sun and Jin (who are two of my favorite characters). I was hoping that they would find each other tonight, but it looks like next week they might. What did you think of their alternate reality? I was so upset when Sun got shot. I hope her and the baby are okay! They are two people that seem to be doing much better in the island reality. Maybe they will both be keepers of the island? How sweet was it when Jin got to see pictures of his daughter!?

I’m very interested in Sayid. It’s scary that he is now devoid of all feelings. Do you think he’ll ever be able to get them back? Sayid was such a good character, I hate to see him turn evil. The show is turning all my favorite characters (Claire, Locke, Sayid) into lunatics and turning my least favorite character (Ben) into a good guy, what the heck?

Widmore also seems to have good intentions, however, I don’t completely trust him. He had a interesting choice of words when he was describing what would happen if the evil smoke monster that is dressed up like Locke got to the real world. He said everyone we know and love would “cease to be”. What is your take on that? To me it meant that they wouldn’t just be killed they would be erased from all existence. Heavy stuff.

Also, what in gods name happened to poor Desmond? I can’t believe the show ended with that and now I have a million questions. What do you guys think is going on? I’ve been missing Desmond and Penny this season but I would’ve liked to have seen Desmond under better circumstances. Hopefully we’ll find out more next week.
