FOX’s PAST LIFE Cancelled

Past Life Cast

It only took a few episodes for Fox to decide to cancel its new series, PAST LIFE, which follows a team of psychologists past life experts who help their clients find the reasons of their troubles.

Unfortunately, the series garnered low-ratings forcing Fox to pull it from its schedule. Original episodes of Kitchen Nightmares will replace its slot on Thursdays starting next week. As to when the remaining episodes will air, we’re most likely looking at this summer.

I personally can’t say that Past Life captured my attention. I watched the pilot, but couldn’t get into it. But what about you guys? Will you miss the show after only a few episodes or did you not even know it existed?

    This is bull they didn’t even give the show a shot! They never do they keep putting stupid reality shows on and cancel the good stuff. Another great show down the drain.

    I had the show DVR’d to watch later and I just watched it. I LOVE it! Maybe they just didn’t give enough promo’s to draw attention to it.

    Leave it to Fox for cancelling a great new series without even giving it a chance. How on earth can they cancel this series just adter 2 episodes plus it was on opposite CSI and Grey’s not to mention the Olympics.

    Give me a break Fox and give this series a chance.

    i didn’t see the pilot but i did see the second episode, i thought it was pretty good i tivoed the 3 episode and was going to watch it tonight. now you tell me it is going to b cancelled , that sucks. it wasn’t given a chance .

    I’m really disappointed–I thought “Past Life” had a lot of potential(but then “Life” and “Life on Mars” were 2 of my favorite shows so apparently I’m the kiss of death). I Tivoed all 3 episodes and liked them. Certainly far better than another Gordon Ramsey show. Liked the two main characters–the other two members didn’t have much to do.

    This is not fair they never even advertised this show I would not have Knowen it was on except it came on the first time after Idol and than the next week they moved it to Thursday I found it by accident. Please keep it on good show

    i can’t believe “past life” is being cancelled, fox didn’t even give it a change. i only learned about the series because of a co-worker and downloaded the first show from i-tunes. that is how much my co-worker loved, so i went to see it. and i have past the show along to other family and friends. see hell’s kitchen, hell that series suck. fox should really give this a chance.

    I was really getting into this show. Why do all the networks decide to pull after only 3 airings?! Imagine if they’d done that with Seinfeld or Friends?

    I really enjoy Past Life and can’t believe they are going to cancel it before it even has a chance. If it can be saved – it should be saved!!!

    I cannot believe they are cancelling this show. HOW STUPID!! Maybe is they would’ve aired it in a different time slot, not against CSI and the Olympics – it might have gotten higher ratings. I RARELY watch any shows on Fox anyway – and if they don’t bring this show back it’ll be yet another reason not to watch them!!

    We loved this show. We rarely watch TV but this show caught our attention and we watched the first three episodes. It was the one show we looked forward to watching regularly. It is disappointing that it has been cancelled. Hopefully Fox will reconsider and put Past Life back on the air.

    I can’t believe they cancelled “Past Life” already. I was so glad that there was a show out there for those of us that believe in reincarnation, that the world was becoming more open minded about the more esoteric beliefs. I wonder if there isn’t more to this than “low ratings”, that the religous right hasn’t threatened to boycott the network or something like that. Regardless, I would love to see the rest of the episodes made.

    I thought the show was awesome. I cant beleive that they only gave it three weeks but yet thet brought back that stupid 24 show that they brought back. Why is it that everytime Fox gets a great show they cancel it? I guess now the only show I will be watching on fox is Glee.

      That’s what I said in my petition protest on another petition site on March 4. IT is my intuitive feeling that money is what makes TV shows go round and round, advertisers’ monies. It would be a threatening concept to Christian advertisers to have reincarnation concepts on TV. Ghosts okay, Devils, fine, but Reincarnation is a great threat to the Fundamental Christian. I’m glad I am not alone in my belief.

      I am a clinical hypnotherapist who did hundreds of Past Life Regressions in California. I didn’t need the show to convince me that Past Lives exist. It was a very good show, believable. In my field what the people experienced in the show, their recall–is called spontaneous recall. Anyway, it was confirming to see your comment. Chow. Colette

    I really enjoyed the show. Past lives fascinate me. As for Kitchen Nightmares…it is a nightmare!

    I can’t believe the show is off air. I loved that show and looked forward to watching that every Thursday! It’s another great show gone away. I hope that it comes back. They need to give the show more of a chance.

    Fox you didn’t even give the series a chance for crying out loud – A pilot and ONLY 2 episodes and POOF you killed it? What is wrong with you? It was really pulling me in and you replace it with Gordon Ramsey? Please bring it back and give it a chance, you tried airing it during the Olympics too, that was a mistake for sure. Undo the wrong and PLEASE bring it back ???????? At least let us see the shows you taped and have yet to air?

    i found this show on hulu and fell in love with it! i have been waiting every week for it come on and just realized it was cancelled. this show was awesome, fox is idiots for canceling something after three episodes during a time when people were gearing up for superbowl/olympics. great show, super sad its gone

    i love this show they should have not cancelled it. it is bullshit to do that. but i heared it was coming back this summer and i hope it stays this time.
