I recently checked out the latest GOSSIP GIRL episode called “Dan De Fleurette.” Although it doesn’t air until Monday Oct 5th, I was able to check it out a little early. Here’s what you have to look forward to in regards to our favorite characters:
Jenny – Starts her first day of school. As you can remember from the end of last season she was named queen of the school by Blair. In this episode you’ll find out if she’ll rule as Blair did, or do things her own way.
Blair – Although she’s still struggling to fit in at NYU, she may have found her clique (with the help of Chuck). I’m still hoping she’ll rise to the top again. I love a good comeback story.
Vanessa – Her new roommate finally moves in and actually seems pretty cool.
Dan – Dan meets a potential love interest, who also seems pretty cool.
Lily – She finally returns home from taking care of her mom only to realize that Serena isn’t going to Brown. It’s great to have Lily back, I’ve missed her!
Serena – She decides to do something productive on her year off before college.
Aside from this you will also get treated to a couple guest stars in “Dan De Fleurette”. The first is Hilary Duff (check out pictures here). I always been sort of neutral on Hilary, but I have to say I thought she was great in this episode. I’m actually hoping she’ll be in the remaining episodes this season. The other guest star I’m sorry to say is Tyra Banks (check out pictures here). Really Gossip Girl? You are better than that. In my opinion Banks over acted in most of the scenes she was in. I hope she is NOT in any more episodes this season.
All in all I’d have to say it’s a solid show. I would have liked to see more on the whole Scott/Georgina thing but I guess we will all have to wait till next time. Until then…xoxo
