ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show” will debut the world premiere of the video for Miley Cyrus’ smash hit song, “Party in the USA,” WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET). An exclusive 90-second version of the video will debut on “Dancing with the Stars’” first results show during their three night premiere week. The full version of “Party in the USA” will be available exclusively on www.abcmusiclounge.com for 48 hours following the television debut.
“Party in the USA” is the fastest breaking song of the year, as well as this year’s highest debut on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. It has held the # 1 spot on iTunes for six weeks running, and has already sold over 1.1 million digital downloads. “Party in the USA” is available on Miley Cyrus’ new EP, “Time of Our Lives,” sold exclusively at Walmart.
Directed by Chris Applebaum, the video has a retro feel with vintage cars at a drive-in movie, mixed with modern, high energy dance moves and a dazzling performance. “Party in the USA” was produced by Dr. Luke, who has produced hit records for Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears and Katy Perry.
