This week Army Wives‘s episode “As Time Goes By” travels back 65 years. Roxy and Pamela meet two older army wives in a nursing home who tell them their own stories at Fort Marshall during WWII. The fun part is that we see all the regulars actor transported back to the 1940′s and reenacting the stories as different characters.
Now the bad news is that this episode doesn’t advance any of the regular storylines. But the good news is, it’s a pretty fun episode and a break from the regular army wives stories.

Episode Synopsis: ARMY WIVES “As Time Goes By” Season 3 Episode 15 – When Roxy and Pamela meet two older army wives, Elise (guest-star Lois Smith) and Virginia (guest-star Barbara Barrier), in a nursing home, they get a glimpse into Fort Marshall during WWII. Elise and Virginia share their stories and relive their experiences through flashbacks. Roxy and Pamela discover the parallel challenges that army wives have dealt with throughout the years, while also seeing how society has evolved culturally. Starring Kim Delaney, Catherine Bell, Brian McNamara, Wendy Davis, Sally Pressman, Jeremy Davidson, Drew Fuller, Sterling K. Brown and Brigid Brannagh.
