THE VAMPIRE DIARIES “Pilot” Episode 1 (CW Series Premiere)

Watch a sneak peek of the new CW series THE VAMPIRE DIARIES season premiere “Pilot” which will premiere Thursday Sept 10 at 8/7c on The CW.

The Vampire Diaries is by far the most awaited show of the season for the CW fans. Airing right before Supernatural”s premiere episode “Sympathy for the Devil” will definitely not hurt but my guess is that the fan base behind The Vampire Diaries will do more for Supernatural than the other way around.

Episode Synopsis: THE VAMPIRE DIARIES “Pilot” – Four months after a tragic car accident killed their parents, 17-year-old Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev, “DeGrassi: The Next Generation”) and her 15-year-old brother, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen, “Everwood”), are still adjusting to their new reality. Elena finds comfort with her best friend Bonnie (Katerina Graham, “17 Again”), frenemy Caroline (Candice Accola, “Juno”), and former boyfriend Matt (Zach Roerig, “Friday Night Lights”), but Jeremy is trying to figure out why Matt’s sister, Vicki (Kayla Ewell, “The Bold and The Beautiful“), is suddenly rejecting him and hanging out with his rival, Tyler (Michael Trevino, “Cane”).

As the school year begins, Elena and her friends are fascinated by a handsome and mysterious new student, Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley, “Fallen”). Stefan and Elena are immediately drawn to one another, but Elena doesn’t realize that Stefan is hiding a dark, deadly secret – the fact that he’s a vampire. At a nighttime bonfire party, Elena and Stefan are getting to know each other when chaos erupts after Vicki is attacked and left bleeding from a savage bite to the neck. Fearing that he knows who is responsible for the attack, Stefan finds that his older brother, Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder, “Lost”), has returned to town.

Now these two vampire brothers – one good, one evil – are at war for Elena’s soul and for the souls of her friends, family and all the residents of Mystic Falls, Virginia. Sara Canning also stars as Aunt Jenna. Marcos Siega directed the pilot written by executive producers Kevin Williamson & Julie Plec

Okay. One: Elena is BLONDE with BLUE eyes. Just like the ring Stefan wears, which makes him think of Katherine, who looked EXACTLY LIKE ELENA. [[Which also brought Damon there]]
Two: SHE HAS A LITTLE SISTER WHOSE LIKE 4 NOT A DRUGGIE BROTHER. Three: Wheres Meredith.???????
Four: Stefan had dark longish curly hair, not short whooooshed back hair. And his eyes are a light bright green.
Five: Damon has dark eyes..not light ones. that throws his ENTIRE character off.
Six: Vickie and Matt are not and never have been RELATED.
Seven: Tyler and Matt HATE each other, theyre not friends.
Eight: Tyler didnt want Vickie, his friend Dick Carson did. and hes not even in the book.
Nine: Bonnie is supposed to be a short, average girl with red curls.
Ten: Bonnie’s Matt’s and Vickie’s and Tyler’s and Caroline’s last names are wrong. they only got Elena and Stefans right.
Eleven: Caroline is NOT blonde. she has auburn hair and her skin is a lot tanner than whoever is playin her character. and she has green eyes, not blue. and she hated Elena the first day they came back, not after she found o ut stefan didnt want her.
Twelve: The name of the town is wrong. It’s ‘Fells Church” not Mystery or watever it is Falls.
Thirteen: Why isnt Katherine’s ring around Stefan’s neck on a necklace.??
Fourteen: When they show Katherine’s picture, it says 1864..Stefan and Damon were born during the Rennisance..thats about 500 years earlier than what they show.
Fifteen: Stefan has never been to..Mystery Falls[[FELLS CHURCH]]..why are they sayin he’s comin back if he’s never been there.??? he and Damon are supposed to feel a ‘power’ bringing them there.
Sixteen: WHO THE HELL IS HE LIVING WITH.?!?!?!? THAT GUY ISNT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE TO MRS.FLOWERS.!!!! AND THEY SAID HE’S RELATED TO STEFAN.?!?!?! NO FAIL.!!!!!
Seventeen: Why do they kill the people they get blood from.??they just drink some of their blood and leave them, make them forget they were ever there. thats the only reason stefan would drink human blood if it was neccessary..COME ON PEOPLE.!!

Dont get me wrong i like the series, but the book is much better. and i got alll of this just by listenin and ocassinally watchin the first episode. Again, im just pointing this out. i do enjoy watching this but the most BASIC information that you get from the first book, i mean honestly, you should have that.
