Whoo hoo! No Ziva! Sorry to all you Ziva fans, but at this point (given the way that Ziva acted in the last few eps of S6) I’m glad that she’s not back just yet. I’m sure she’ll be back soon enough, but realistically after the season finale she should definitely NOT be in the premiere. At least, not as a member of NCIS.

  • tejas

Can’t agree with you more, Carinascott! No Ziva is *great* in my book!

  • Gibbsy

No Ziva works for me. And Tony is looking mightee fine!

  • Nanna

I NEED Ziva! Sure, NCIS would be great no matter what, but it’s always 10 times better when Ziva’s there (esp Ziva-centered eppies)…
Although I have to admit I’m not too fond of the ‘new Ziva’… miss the old season 3/4 Ziva :(

  • Shane

Can’t wait for season 7 and Zivas reunion with Tony, Gibbs and the rest of the team.
Love Ziva and can’t imagine NCIS without her. She improves every season and Cotes performance in the last 4 episodes of season 6 were brilliant.

  • pfyre

Michael and Sean look great. Michael appears to be a bit slimmer.

Thank god to pics of Ziva! I am so sick to death of hearing about Ziva and TIVA! Hell anytime Tony gets mentioned now invariably someone brings her up! He existed long before she arrived and he’ll exist long after she’s nothing but a faded memory.

  • Kate

Tony looks damn good. Sling-less I see.

I’m quite feeling the no Ziva in the first episode as long as she goes back to NCIS eventually and they all hug and make up. =] In true hard core assasin way, like a hug with a slap on the back. Or maybe they punch each other in the forearms… distraction.

Anyway, ‘super pumped’ for the premmy.

  • Jessica

Don’t worry- Ziva will be returning, that’s already been reported. They made it seem like she might be doing some suspicious things, but we know more’s going to be explained in the premiere. I can’t wait. The Tony & McGee interviewing process is probably going to be funny as hell.

  • JosieFB

Notice the woman that Tony and Tim are interviewing is an Israeli actress and she has some physical characteristics similar to Ziva, especially the widow’s peak hairline. I have a feeling this is torturing Tony. NCIS message boards are already pointing out that if you zoom in he looks a bit disheveled and has a haunted look in his eyes. He’s missing Ziva and so am I! Please come back soon Ziva!

  • Mel

Michael and Sean look great. Tony with longer hair and no tie:love it! Still think Tony needs to lose the tight suits and go back to the finely tailored look of old, though. And Ziva? She will be back, and some of us will welcome her with open arms!

  • pfyre

Except that Cote isn’t Israeli – so is there a specific ‘look’ we’re supposed to be scanning for in ‘Israelis’?

And Tony doesn’t look haunted to me.

  • JosieFB

No, I wasn’t making a blanket statement about how all Israelis look. Cote is after all playing an Israeli. Both women are very beautiful. I was pointing out that this actress has some of the same physical characteristics as Ziva. Dark hair, dark eyes and a widow’s peak. I don’t think that is a coincidence, but I could be wrong.

  • anna

To say that talking to the woman is torturing Tony is a bit far-fetched considering how much Tony LOVES talking up beautiful women. But I gotta give you points for trying to drag the ‘Tony is missing the love of his life’ garbage into a picture thread about S7.

  • R.

I hope Ziva come back soon.
Cote is playing Ziva really good

@ Shane, I agree with you! Cote has played the last 4 episodes great!

Sorry for my bad spalling and gramma. I come from Germany so my English is not really godd ^^
But I´m still a big NCIS fan ;)

  • Kate

Why are you arguing over a picture?

If one person thinks Tony looks haunted then Tony looks haunted to them.
If another person disagrees then they disagree. So you both post your opinions.
There isn’t any reason to slate the opposite view just to make a point.

I think that Tony doesn’t look disheveled or heartbroken, I think he is just concentrating on the woman intently.

How did I do? Who did I offend from the above sentence? Nobody? I’m glad. That is how it is done. Although maybe without my sarcastic digs. Okay?

    Now be nice children.

  • http://ncisfans.yolasite.com Larry

I hope Cote and all the NCIS cast stay together. As their on screen chemistry is awesome.Long may they continue. I am a UK NCIS fan,and I would swap Gibb`s and Co for Simon Cowell anytime.

  • Monika

I hope Tony and McGee make it really hard for the candidates, like a “No one can replace Ziva.” sort of thing.

  • R.

Oh I think they will do that … I hope so :)
    That will be funny.

  • Francie

I hate seeing Ziva go. We were really lucky they found someone that fit so well with the team when Kate was killed off. Can we be that lucky again? I love this show and hate any changes, but I know they have to “keep it fresh”. Can’t wait for the season to start!!!!!!!! I miss Mark Harmon!!!

  • Annie

Michael Weatherly is looking mighty fine – as usual. I would like the show to continue without the Ziva character, but as they will mostly likely bring her back…at least I hope they bring out the fact that she was the one who withheld information and lied to her team. It seems that that aspect was very underplayed and I didn’t get it. More Tony….More Gibbs..(no two hotter men in any series on TV in my opinion)…….love their relationship and I don’t mean Tibbs or romance between the tow…just more mentor/student, father/son like moments (is anyone else as sick of seeing these little combo names as I am?)

  • R.

I would like to see this relationship, too. Between Tony and Gibbs but also Abby and Gibbs. I missed it in the last episodes. But I also missed the “brother / sister” relationship between the charcters like McGee and Tony or Tony and Ziva…..
Ziva has to come back soon! She makes NCIS better than before. I liked Kate, too but Ziva is different. Ziva is my favourite chracter.
    I can´t wait for season 7!!

  • http://none Greg Nicholson

I see Tony and Vance falling out leading Tony after receiving intel where Ziva is being held to rescue her with the help of his rich father and we learn that the person behind this is none other than the frogs son who wants revenge for the death of his father blaming ncis ps what was the document Vance shredded at the start of last season hmmmmmmm

  • caty

That actress has a little more than a widow’s peak, it looks pretty weird.

Luckily those of us who are tired of Ziva don’t have to sit through a rescue mission, because Shane Brennan said that the premier will come out of left field, and so far everyone and their dog thinks there’s going to be a rescue mission.

BTW I have a question for those who are into the whole Tiva thing: why not Tova? Tiva is basically Ziva with a T, Tony’s name isn’t really in there. At first I though people were talking about water sandals, and also that no one knew Ziva’s name, it took me so long to figure it out…

  • xandercordy1

To Greg Nicholson…..finally! someone else who thinks that the arms dealers are tied in with La Granouille. Sorry if the spelling is wrong, but everyone knows who I am talking about. I remember Renee telling Ducky that he had three children, 2 sons (plus Jeanne, of course) and I always felt that these two sons, or at least one of them, would return to wreak havoc….like Ari did only this time no one would get killed. After all, the way he talked he was very close to all of his children. Renee kept Jeanne in the dark about his business but who knows about his boys? Plus, as Renee told Gibbs and Jenny, no one knew that he was being helped to be the biggest arms dealer in the world by the CIA until NCIS (or rather Jenny, dragging Tony along) started trying to bring him down. I think that the arms dealers being so interested in NCIS (wanting Ziva to tell them everything she knows) would follow right along in that train of thought.

I also agree with you, Annie. I think that the way Ziva acted, holding back information and such, was very, very underplayed. I know that Gibbs and the rest of the team don’t want to believe she kept stuff from them but they need to deal with this. And I want to see more of the father/son relationship between Gibbs and Tony. It seems that in season 6 the writers kinda drifted away from that whole thing and I hated it. That, to me, was a very big part of the show. The relationships between the characters are as much a part of the show as the crimes they solve….more so. I was so happy when Gibbs finally told Tony that he was making him proud….I’ve been waiting to hear Gibbs tell Tony something like that (without adding a funny comment afterwards) for years. That was the best moment of season 6.

As for the guys, they look gorgeous as always, especially Michael. I, too, wish that Tony would go back to wearing more comfortable clothes like he did in the first 3 seasons. I know they work for an agency and they are supposed to dress up, but there were several episodes where Tony got to wear jeans and a nice sweater or shirt. Even suits without ties, like Gibbs, would be better than all dressed up with tie and everything. McGee needs to loosen up as well….I loved the few episodes where he was allowed to wear just a comfortable shirt without suits, like in the episode “Shalom.” I know they were trying to show how McGee was turning into Tony, but still…..

  • Tim

If none of the team accepts a new team member, then they would be reacting exactly the same way they did when Ziva replaced Kate.

As far as I’m concerned it’ll be hard to figure out who’ll be the bigger basket case over Ziva, Abby (because she’s Abby) or guilt ridden Tony. Why? Simple. He’ll be feeling if he doesn’t kill Rivken, things would be cool between he and Ziva and she wouldn’t be missing.

If the Ziva haters can’t deal with Tony feeling that way, maybe they should wait until Ziva’s back before watching NCIS this upcoming season…………

  • CJ

    we need kate back!

  • Greg Nicholson

Just saw teaser trailer for premier and i now think beside the fact it could be the frog,s son it also could be Ziva,s father because he found out she killed Ari his son r it could be the cia because ncis exposed their gun running operation. I still am curious about the document that Vance shredded up at the start of season 6 and how they focus on the boots of ZIVA,S interogator and the cigarette butts which are filtred mst cigs in middle east aren,t hint American and one of Vances specialties is gathering intel but Tony is sent on an assignment on foriegn soil and ends up in same room where Ziva was and wen asked why he is there he says revenge interesting

  • Boronia

i totaly agree, i think its either logrunwi`s son (or maybe all three of them) or zivas father. maybe he tried to interrogate her about NCIS but although things are a bit (lot) shakey between them she still cares for them all andrefused to talk. so he resorted to torture :( poor ziva.

has anyone seen the picture with tony in the same chair as ziva? and the trailer with him in it? he said he was their for vengance,i think? would that be for hurting ziva?or mybe killing her?(unlikley)

ill be very sad if ziva dies. liked kate, but ziva is different. she brings a whole different dynamic to the team, with all her scary mossad training.

All of you non ziva fans are wrong everyone I know here in Austin, Tx watches just to see ziva and dinozzo chemistry on the show. I know alot of people that will stop watching if she is out. She is all around a good character, she is both feminine and strong. Like the way she was in the super soldier episode.

Stop hating on Ziva when you know she is the bomb.

  • tejas

The first episodes are looking promising. Limited, or no, Ziva. Whooo-hoo! Now, if only the rest of the series could be Zivaless things would be great. I’m not sure how much more of her I can take no matter how much I love the show. Kill her off and be done with it.

  • anna

Sylvia….So if Ziva’s the bomb, when will she detonate? That’s one episode I won’t miss just to watch that awful character go bye-bye.

  • Mel

Wow, looks like the Ziva-haters are out with daggers drawn, as usual! All this negativity is quite depressing. It’s sad how some just want to dwell on “their” opinions of what the show “needs” to be(which pretty much always amounts to no Ziva/no Tiva). If you hate this show that much, why continue watching? Please stop your insufferable whining and let the rest of us enjoy a show that we actually love!

  • rmariet

What is it with the pro-TIVA faction and their sense of self-entitlement? Just because YOU see TIVA with every glance, every verbal exchange btwn Tony & Ziva does not make it canon aka fact. It is subtext and subject to individual interpretation.

And btw just because we don’t like TIVA and/or Ziva does not make us any less NCIS fans. Many of us like it for the ensemble cast and the overall series plotline – not some farcical romance. Make TIVA canon and NCIS will go the way of Without a Trace and CSI:NY – down the tubes in the ratings.

  • anna

Gee…thought the show was an ENSEMBLE cast show & not something totally about Ziva. & as far as stopping complaints about Ziva/Tiva, as soon as pro-Tiva stops shoving the non-canon pairing down our throats & demanding that it be made a major storyline in the show, you got it.

  • Mel

Gee, talk about self-entitlement! Taking quite a bit for granted, as I never said I was a Tiva fan or not, or that I saw “Tiva” in every glance, blah blah blah. I am, however, just as “entitled” to my opinion as others, and it’s always amusing to me how any opinion that is not anti Ziva is automatically considered to be from some sort of obsessive, “squee” fan girl. And for the record, I consider the show to be an ensemble, too, with Ziva as part of that ensemble. JMO though.

  • rmariet

Well, Mel – perhaps you should be introduced to the kettle. You were the one suggesting if someone doesn’t like TIVA or Ziva that perhaps they should just not watch the show instead of sharing their view. I for one do not want TPTB [who do get feedback via interns that monitor the web] to feel that 100% of the audience is pure PRO-TIVA and/or PRO-Ziva. And believe me – the socalled Antis wouldn’t be out here posting if it weren’t for the TIVA-ettes out here turning virtually every single post about NCIS into the All-Ziva-All-TIVA oriented NCIS world that they live in.

You’re not a ‘pro-TIVA’ or ‘pro-Ziva’ fan then I say more power to you. But those who are not willing to sit by and having Ziva/TIVA crammed down our throats are not going to quit our “insufferable whining” because it bothers you. If these comments bother you then I invite you to ignore them.

  • mel blyth

All we need is more Gibbs!!!! the silver fox rules ok

  • Vicki

You guys are all so lucky, I live in Denmark so we don’t get to se then next season in like a year.. I want so bad to see it.. I miss the humor of the show..
I do have to agrie with many of you, I want Ziva to come back to, I love how her and Tony are around eachothers.. I also is looking very much forward to (hopefully)see some more McGee and Abby action..

  • Cailey

just a reminder:this show hasnt done any pursuing of main charectar relationships if u count jenny and gibbs and i dont(although they were cute and i miss her). so dont throw the idea out yet! it might add an intresting dynamic to the show!!although i am a tiva shipper but that doesnt change what i just said.

  • greg nicholson

I watched episode 25 over and learned interesting things the sec navy didn,t want Vance at the meeting knowing his relationship with the head of mousade from earlier days knowing they would be watched pointed out to Gibbs Vance was going to be pointman on a major mission comming up and to work with him that they really didn,t need their brothers ie cia fbi ice or mousade Ziva,s father told her in last show to leave him to find the answers and her to finish rivkins mission besides the frogs son it also could be Trent Court who took over the frogs gun running bussiness as mousade is after the man running the camp because he killed one of their men ncis turns over intel to mousade on training camp yet ncis already had major mission planned i don,t trust Ziva,s father could be his interrogation because as Gibbs pointed out they,ll never see Ziva again because of her father,s past actions 3 weeks of monitoring Ziva by ncis then nothing Tony sent on major assigsnment gets caught says he,s there on vengence for who but trust me i believe Gibbs will save Tony the true sound of a snipers rifle in the trailer Ducky on the mission incase they needed a doctor if they find Ziva Vance pointed out that mousade used Gibbs played him NCIS didn,t like mousade in their house

  • shaina

dont care what yall say ziva is the best thing that eva happened to ncis i didnt like the first girl who played as kaitlin she was not good or interesting when ziva came she made it better and shes the one who got the show more view than anything else.i like ziva and the rest of the characters.Cote De Pablo ur awesome.KEEP BRINGING THOSE AWESOME NCIS SHOWS TO US.
