Episode Synopsis: TRUE BLOOD “I Will Rise Up” Season 2 Episode 9 – A wounded Eric plays Sookie for a sucker, to Bill’s dismay, and ends up getting inside her head. Later, Sookie and Jason reflect on their recent adventure, and end up bonding at the feuding Newlins’ expense. Blaming Eggs for Tara’s bruises and bizarre behavior, Lafayette and Lettie Mae try to figure out a way to pry their kin from Maryann’s clutches. Hoyt defends his relationship with Jessica to Maxine over lunch, to no avail. Jailed by Bud along with a group of Bon Temps revelers, Sam finds a novel way to escape his cell–and avoid capture by an increasingly obsessed Maryann. In Dallas, Eric and the vampires defend their recent actions to Nan Flanagan, and are shocked when Godric decides to take the fall for their PR disaster.

I am so happy the famed Sookie/Eric naked scene was a dillusion and not reality!!! I am glad you have the balls to buck the “bookies” AB!! : )

I loved the bed scene.I have read the books so I know Eric loves Sookie.They are so much better together.You will find Bill is not so great after all.I really hated that they killed Godric although it was a beautiful scene,I cried,my daughter cried.I wish they would have kept him.I really though they would since so many liked him.I really don’t think viewers opion matter to them.

It was a very good episode, but i have one doubt, can you help me?

What were they speaking, I mean Eric and Godric, They were speaking english but, in the dialogue they speak another languaje, Am I right?

I’d love to know what languaje was that?

I’ve just finished the first two books and I must say Eric is my new FAV!! And btw, the actor on the show is spot on with the character in the book in every way. They need to let him shine more…maybe next season. I do get the feeling just from the first two books that someone will eventually need to save Sookie from Bill…he’s kind of, very subtly, emotionally abusive to her and treats her like a well-loved pet. This is the first time I can say that the movie or (show rather) is equally as good as the book. Books are usually much better…so I have a feeling that true blood will make history in some way.
