Callum Blue is General Zod in SMALLVILLE

Callum Blue (who brilliantly played Mason in Dead Like Me) has been cast as General Zod in the CW’s SMALLVILLE.

For you non-comic book fans, General Zod is one of the most iconic Superman nemesis. Blue will be playing a younger version of Zod. I have to say that, although I really like Callum, I don’t know if he is the right person for this part. There is a certain charisma and coldness that Zod has that I haven’t seen Callum Blue play. I hope to be proven wrong.
