Check out this extended preview from THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, which will premiere on The CW this Fall.

I don’t know about you but I’m excited. Having read the books, I can already tell that the show will be a lot different from them apart from the main plot points. But I think I actually like the changes they made. Plus with Kevin Williamson as the creator, I think we’re in good hands. I cannot wait to find out if the show actually lives up to the hype.

I’m excited too but still apprehensive about the show though. I was pretty upset about the casting at first but I’ve just decided that as long as the characterization is good, well it would be alright! So far, I’m pleased (kinda) with the trailers I’ve seen. Some decent acting from Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder. Nina Dobrev is fine as well but she seems awkward and too sweet sometimes, and that’s NOT what Elena is like.

I am also pretty excited but nothing will be better than True Blood.
