African-american women are not represented in the final 20 contestants. I find it impossible to believe that they just weren’t good enough to make it. The women on the program now, are clones of eachother. there is no visual variety at all. I really can’t even express how ridiculous some of those girls looked doing hip-hop and salsa. It’s an insult that African-American women were purposly not selected. I will not watch this show again because there’s clearly a bias going on here and because it’s just plain boring with all of the female clones on the show. What a yawn!!!!

    Dear Sir/Madam:

I have been watching the show for several years. The young men and women are very talented. They are still young men and women, not professionals. The things the show puts them through, the long and grueling practice sessions and long hours are all for the ratings.I cannot stand Ms. Mary Murphy is the most annoying judge. Everytime she speaks, makes me wish someone would throw a pie in her face. The host Ms. Dealey, has no idea about being a host. She is not professional and has absolutely no taste in clothing. I believe the coreographers place too much pressure on these talented dancers. Why don’t they take a man and women champiuon instead of one or the other. Perhaps this makes too much sense huh?
