Caprica
Synopsis: Set 50 years before Battlestar Galactica, Caprica follows two rival families and their patriarchs – Daniel Graystone (Eric Stoltz) and Joseph Adama (Esai Morales) – as they compete and thrive in the vibrant world of the 12 Colonies, a society recognizably close to our own. Enmeshed in the burgeoning technology of artificial intelligence and robotics that will eventually lead to the creation of the Cylons, the two houses go toe-to-toe blending action with corporate conspiracy and sexual politics.

Recommendations: For fans of Battlestar Galactica and everyone else. This is a great introduction to what will become a series this Fall. You can read my full review here.

My Own Worst Enemy
Synopsis: My Own Worst Enemy follows the life of American secret agent Edward Albright and his cover alias, Henry Spivey who had no knowledge of his double life. Albright, played by Christian Slater, was implanted with a chip that allowed his handlers to physically switch Albright’s personality to that of his alias. However, in the pilot episode, there was a malfunction which caused Albright’s personalities to switch at random, revealing his secret life to his alias.

Recommendations: I enjoyed My Own Worst Enemy when it was on TV and I think it’s worth a look.

iCarly (Season 1, Volume 2)
Synopsis: The series focuses on a girl named Carly who creates her own web show called iCarly with her best friends Sam and Freddie.
Cast: Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, Nathan Kress, Jerry Trainor
Recommendations: I just don’t think I’m the target audience for this, so I’ll just pass.

Dallas (The Complete Eleventh Season)
Synopsis: Dallas, a soap-opera, revolves around the Ewings, a wealthy Texas family in the oil and cattle-ranching industries.
Cast: Larry Hagman, Barbara Bel Geddes, Jim Davis, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Susan Howard, Steve Kanaly, Howard Keel, George Kennedy, Ken Kercheval, Cathy Podewell, Priscilla Beaulieu Presley, Victoria Principal, Dack Rambo, Donna Reed, Charlene Tilton, Sheree J. Wilson
Recommendations: Never had any interest in watching Dallas.
