PUSHING DAISIES “Dim Sum Lose Some” (Season 2 Episode 5) Discussion

What Did You Think of PUSHING DAISIES “Dim Sum Lose Some”?

I have to say that for a show that is struggling with getting more viewers, I was really disappointed by this episode. I found the whole case pretty boring.

Also I’m not sure how I feel about Ned having twin brothers. Not only was I not expecting this, but it seemed that they took the news rather well, too well even. I smell something fishy. That said, I agree with Olive and Chuck, these two are adorable. I wonder how much of them we’re going to see in future episodes.

Apart from that, I wish there had been more Chuck and Ned time. I would even settle for more Ned time. I really wish they would give him something more to do.

As for Emmerson, well I didn’t really care for his scenes with Simone. After such great scenes between Emmerson and his mom last week, this week just didn’t live up to those.

What did you guys think? Were you as disappointed as I was or am I exaggerating?

Ned isn’t surprised about the brothers because he already knew about them from the Halloween episode where he got the postcard. When he and Digby went dressed as ghosts to the “We Moved” address from the card, Ned saw his father walking out of the house with the boys and his new wife. In fact, his father was carrying one of the boys when he handed him the candy. So, no surprise to Ned. He resents them for being part of his father’s “new” family.
