TrueBlood – more Bill, please!

It is definitely Bill Compton, a vampire and a southern gentleman. I haven’t read any of the books and I am looking forward to it! Being that I am from Louisiana (but live in Los Angeles) and love vampire lore, I have become quite attached to the series and am so glad it has been picked up for another season already!

I have loved Charlaine’s books since I first discovered them in the local library. I have read every one of them and I can’t wait for more and more. I have to say Sam is my favorite character. I always wanted to be a weredog and would love to be able to talk to my five dogs in their language. The show is fascinating and I can’t wait for the second season. Keep ‘em coming! Charlaine rocks!

Hi All,

I’m entering for the True Blood Prize pack, Comic Con bag and book.

To pick just one character is difficult. I’m going to put the main characters aside and clue you in to who I love, from Season 1, of course.

Tara is my choice since she is so complex. Tara seems to tie everyone together. She is close to Sookie and Jason. She also has her storyline involving Lettie Mae and Lafayette. Tara is lonely like Sam and she’s also getting her fill with the supernaturals.

I love how Alan Ball has given her such a nice part in the show, even though she’s not in the books that much.

Tara is really intellectual, if you think about it. She may tend to explode and is surely misunderstood, but she has knowledge about a wide variety of issues. She is the backbone and glue and spreads herself thin, connecting in some way with all the characters.

I loved Layfette! I also love Sookie and Sam……..Bill is too much of a player! Now Sookie and Eric…… hmmm that would be a steamy romance possibly! Can not wait for Sunday night and season 2 of ‘TrueBlood’!

Lafayette is my favorite.

Eric is my favorite, he’s very rough and mysterious. But as we can see in episode 6 & 7 for season 2 he’s much gentler than what he leads on to believe, he has a love for Godric that is very touching. This is a character that has as many layers as an onion and I believe we’ll get to see many of them in the upcoming episodes. For those of you who love Bill…just wait…you’ll change your mind.
