David – #6 SHARPE
A TV series that followed Sean Bean (“Lord of the Rings”) as Richard Sharpe, a Maverick Officer in the British army fighting in the Napoleonic Wars.
It shows Sharpe’s rise through the ranks of Lord Wellingtons’ army due to his courageous antics. There were only 14 episodes made over 4 years, but the show has a massive cult following. The series was based on the Novels written by Bernard Cornwell.
