Procedural Updates – NCIS Love Affair

Ok, is it just me or are Anthony and Ziva about to hook-up?

Since the storyline with Jean has been squashed (at least for now), the tension between those two has evolved slowly but surely. I am guessing the NCIS writers are setting this up for some distant future.
Don’t get me wrong, I think they make a cute couple, especially with the way Tony keeps correcting her English (seriously homegirl should be fluent by now) and the way Ziva keeps hounding him about his relationships.

Do I have proof of this? No. But I have a strong feeling that Ziva and Tony are in love. And I am not the only one who thinks this by the way. Check out these video montages that I found online. If that is not proof, I don’t know what is.

I hope they do hook-up. Is the chemistry of them on screen also true in off-screen? Are they dating?

Hey Kristi, I don’t think they are dating in real life. As much as I want it to happen, I don’t want that to take away from the show’s procedural tone.
If i wanted to watch failed love stories, i would watch the Hills.

I would love to see of Ziva and Tony building up to a out of office relationship. They hinted in Shalom they had been seeing each other. However when they met in Gibbs basement the look was one of something had happen. I think there is a lot they could do with them having a relationship. Maybe dealing with the feelings they have to put aside for the other because of a mission. Maybe Ziva having to deal with her own concerns of trust. Tony having to realize that sometimes true love is right in front of you. I would not want it to become the Tony and ZIva love hour and hit us over the head they love each other. Just maybe show them talking with each other. Maybe have Abby or McGee telling them to notice what they have together and forget rule 12. There is a lot of places to go if they would do it. Not to mention having a fight and Gibbs blowing up that is why he has rule 12.

Would love to see Director David reaction to Ziva with someone that is not Jewish, would she have to deal with a retalatory strike from Daddy?

Great analysis, Diana. I also like the fact that you quoted rule 12. I also think that rule 8 “Never take anything for granted” applies in this situation. Tony might mess up and take the relationship he has with ziva for granted, which will lead to her to look somewhere else.

I can’t wait for the show to come back!

I agree about rule 8 though I think after Jeanne that Tony may have figured that rule out. Hopefully he just opens his eyes to see what is in front of him. I would love to see NCIS go in the uncharted waters of a married couple working together and dealing with that stress, along with family.

Someone posted on an email group I am on that in the real NCIS agents are married. So hey CBS please take a step into these waters:)

11 days and we should get a new episode. Hopefully this strike ends soon so we can have some more new shows this year.

Ohh and do not forget in the commentary on the final episode for season 4 Don Bellasario admits Ziva has a thing for Tony and that she needs to stop lying to herself while she and Ducky are at the bar.

Ziva and Tony are perfect for each other. Come on look at them from season 3 through til 5. Even when Tony was with Jeanne! I Really hope they get together, Rule 12 Sucks.

You know I do not think Gibbs has ever told Ziva about rule 12. I know when it was first mentioned it was to Tony and Kate. However Tony has dated people he has worked with or at least tried to.

yeh, but I think its better for McGee to have his own secret girlfriends rather than having one that everybody knows about. He could always end up with abby… I think Tony and Ziva are god as a couple and I really want them to get together, maybe we could find something out from he spoilers about season 6.

Yes I do agree that there is something between Tony & Ziva, Like Ziva is alwise looking Tony up & down, she flirts with him 24/7 & you can see in her eyes that she has deep feelings for him, it’s not one sided either, when ever Tony thinks Ziva is not looking he is checking her out, he flirts with her back, I also remember in season four when Ziva was flirting with that cop John in Lovers & friends Tony snapped at John, also in Season Five in Recoil when Ziva was under cover & with that other guy, Tony was showing a bit of Jelousy there. When I see Tony & Ziva I think of that song “you say it best when you say nothing at all

I can’t see Ziva and McGee, but i can see McGee and Abbey together. I LOVE TIVA!!! The pure chemistry between them is explosive, it would make an amazing relationship but they both have very strong personalities, so they’d have to work something out! It’s very obvious Ziva likes Tony, have you seen the way she looks at him?! I think Tony has feelings for her too, but hasn’t quite realized it yet. If she died it would have a lot more impact on him than when Kate died. (I did like Kate, but can you imagine if she died, i don’t think he’d cope) But thats just my opinion =)

I love TIVA and hope that this season the writers take a challenge on and write in a TIVA relatioship.
Tony needs put his walls down and let Ziva in and Ziva needs to openly admit her feelings. Sighhh

In the begining of season 4(I think) Ziva is caught going in and out of Tony house by her father, the guy in the Embassy told her. So I think that they at least had something going on. Thats just my opinion though. Of course my other favorite pairing is Gibbs/Abby, I think that they are just great together.

I would love them as a couple but I would hate them getting together. Confusing I know, but think about it. Relationships are always boring in tv shows and if they have a relationship all the sexual tension and snide little comments would stop and the show would lose some flair. Maybe in the last episode them getting together. But I’m totally crazy for Tiva.

I think that the writers on NCIS could make a relationship work. It is the norm anymore on TV that no relationship can work. If someone argues then they cheat and then divorce. Come on Hollywood give a real relationship. In a real relationship you argue and work it out and do not cheat on your spouse. Trust me there are lots of couples that still flirt and do not cheat on each other.

I think that they are soo cute together, and i really hope they get together. i think they will, its been hinted a bit ever since ziva joined ncis. like ducky commenty that shes like a wife with a wayward husband about him. and how tony shoots her boyfrend( i was so mad when he did that). and just look at under covers. oh and in the one where mgee writes a book based on them:

I know many people dont really want Tony and Ziva to hook up as it may ruin the show, but seriously, they’re perfect together! Ziva and McGee is just too strange for words, but I’m definitely a Tiva fan. Hot couple, I definitely dont think it will ruin the show, just cause more interesting controversy around the angency. I think it will be quite fun to watch. LOVED the first episode in season 7 where Tony saves Ziva. How can you deny they wont be perfect for each other? Ive been waiting for them to hook up since season 3. Just notice how jealous they are off each other when they see them with another.

GOSH! I looooooove TIVA! They need to get together sooo bad! I think the NCIS writers could handle a relationship without making it boring. I mean come on, not all relationships are like that! They dont all lose their flirtiness and tension. I think they would still have all those moments and stuff but it would be made better with the occasional kiss or look at how their life is going.

notice i said OCCASIONAL! However much i love them, i dont want the show to be taken over by them, it needs to keep its awesome crime-y-ness!

and i think they should have cases that arent so predictable, and that span over multiple episodes. i mean i can ALWAYS pick who the killer is.

They get a seemingly obvious lead and on the way to follow it up they meet some insignificant characters. They follow the lead and it ends up its the wrong person and they get some new piece of evidence that shows them that the killer is one of those insignificant characters.

Puh-lease…Turn it up a bit!! Make it more exciting! And not so predictable…well thats just all my opinions…see ya!
