Daemon’s TV Podcast: Episode #4 – Fall TV Updates

Daemon's TV Podcast

Welcome to the 4th episode of Daemon’s TV Podcast. Eric and I decided to change our format a little bit and make our episodes shorter from now on. Hopefully this will make it easier for us to do them more often, as well as give us more of a agenda for each episode. Hope you enjoy it.

Update: It seems like there was some problem on iTunes to download the latest podcast. I just fixed it and it should work as soon as iTunes crawls the feed again. Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks to the people that let me know about the problem, I really appreciate it. :-)

Episode #4: Fall TV Updates: Sandie and Eric discuss their disappointments with “Heroes” and “Reaper” as well as what they love about “Torchwood” and “Moonlight.” “The Office” gets a mention too.

bashing heroes already.Jayzus,u people are simply too impatient.Give it some time for them to lay the groundwork.I thought season one was a snoozefest at 1st but the it warmed up quite nicely. The format of the show is based on comics meaning that its serialistic ,the goodies cannot come all at once.I thought the Adam revelation was done nicely but the virus thing was a little too reminiscent of the marvel comics storyline, however splitting it into two time lines adds an interesting component.

I totally agree with you guys about Reaper:every stinking episode is the same.It strange but I think Chuck and Reaper are nearly identical:one oddball gets forcibly recruited by the devil and the other by the US government (mmm..),flanked by a couple of campy sidekicks and an iffy love situation. But where Chuck succeeds is that it PROGRESSES.Every ep there is a revelation about something :either his partners or the government or his past or something. Reaper OTOH has Sam whining about his situation of being a slave and his carrot and stick girlfriend every single time. Even the villains are all the same fire man,bee guy and electro fella jeez. The ghostbusters cartoon this show partially rips off seems like Hitchcock in comparison
